The Wheat Ridge High School band is under the direction of Michael Vallez. The band has been a past CBA State finalist as well as a CBA Marching State Champion. The band has also performed in numerous places, including Las Vegas, New York City, Hawaii, the Caribbean and Germany. The program serves approximately 120 students and consists of Marching Band, Jazz Band, Concert Band, String Orchestra, Winter Percussion and Winter Guard.

next Jeffco "save the music" action will take place at Arvada High School from 9:00-10:30 A.M. Attendance at these budget forums are so important. Every individual person will make an impact since they are doing smal focus groups for this go around.
